Our 2023-24 Small Project/Festival - MUSIC SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS reached over 1000 local residents with over 15 free concerts and concluded with a community performance to a sold out house at BOMBYX Center of Arts and Equity, Florence Massachusetts. Our guest artists included: Chill Harmonics, The Wise Guys, NHS Chamber Choir & The Northamptones, along with Heartsong and Valley Blend Quartets. and we were pleased to donate. portion of the proceeds to . . . |

Our Current Health Policies
~ Masks currently optional * If you have any doubt about whether you are ill with Covid, please test before coming to rehearsals or performances. If someone in your household has Covid or if you have been exposed to someone with Covid, you must test negative before coming to rehearsal. Visitors or Members who test positive for Covid should not return to rehearsals or performances until symptoms are improving, there is no fever without medication, and it has been at least 5 days since first symptoms or a positive test, whichever came first. * Heart of the Valley Chorus re-evaluates the required use of masks for indoor rehearsals and performances regularly and will require masks as is informed by the covid index as well as the comfort level of and risk level to our members. We recognize that personal risk is determined by multiple factors including age, vaccination status, prior health concerns, among other factors. Just as personal risk varies widely, so too does the risk to different types of choral groups. The CDC continues to recommend masking for all people when community transmission is high and/or when personal risk is high. |

The Heart of the Valley Chorus is an auditioned choir who is always looking for new voices. Established 40 years ago originally as The Mount Sugarloaf Chorus, we are a part of Sweet Adelines International and often participate in a yearly regional competition in Springfield with other Northeast Sweet Adeline chapters. Our main goal is to have fun and produce high quality harmonies. We love to sing and love to laugh and learn music.
We are school teachers, medical professionals, college faculty, mail carriers, retirees, bookkeepers, fund development professionals, social workers, pastors and so much more.
