Holiday Singing 2024.
We held a 4 week guest program entitled "Light One Candle" aimed at bring light and love to all during the darkest time of the year. It culminated in a community concert at Bombyx where we and our 17 guests sang to an audience of over 160 people. Many of our guests joined us for a holiday performance at Rockridge Retirement Community as well. We also had the privilege of singing for a holiday party at the Springfield Sheraton, the Granby Senior Center as well as heralding the holiday season with cocoa and caroling at Pause & Pivot Farm |

October & November 2024
Heart of the Valley was proud to be part of so many community events. A guest spot light on Mass Appeal Channel 22 Springfield Eekapella at Historic Northampton Riding the trolley in the Florence Veteran's Day parade so we could honor our Veteran's in song at the Veteran's Day Ceremony. |

In July our Director flew off to Tulsa OK to the Directors' and Visual Leaders' Conference where she teamed up with Merrimack Valley's Directors for a weekend of fun and learning.
We sang on the farm for a picnic crowd at Pause & Pivot, gave a benefit concert at the United Church of Conway to raise over $500 as well as baskets of food donations for the food pantry, and enjoyed tuning in for back porch rehearsals |

In May 2024, we performed on the stage at Symphony Hall in Springfield with many other choruses and quartets from North Atlantic Region 1 Sweet Adelines. Our very own, Valley Blend Quartet, received the Novice Quartet Award. |

Our 2023-24 Small Project/Festival
MUSIC SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS reached over 1000 local residents with over 15 free concerts and concluded with a community performance to a sold out house at BOMBYX Center of Arts and Equity, Florence Massachusetts. Our guest artists included: Chill Harmonics, The Wise Guys, NHS Chamber Choir & The Northamptones, along with Heartsong and Valley Blend Quartets. And we were pleased to donate a portion of the proceeds to It Takes a Village! |

December Musical Cheer
Over a dozen free performances for senior housing residents in Florence, Northampton, Easthampton and Williamsburg, all supported by our Massachusetts Cultural Council grant, along with a special holiday performance for the Holyoke Senior Center luncheon.

Bubbling Over
We 'bubble' at all of our rehearsals - literally and figuratively. Bubbling (a lip and vocal warm up that helps us resonate sound) gives you a joyful tingling feeling.❤️
